Hot Weather Returns on Saturday

by David on July 23, 2010

After some Friday showers, looks like the hot temps will return on Saturday.  Also, an interesting article about invasive insects appeared in the newspaper today, and it is worth reading for those who seem to think that the policy of most New England campgrounds regarding firewood (suggested by the USDA and the CT DEP) are based on the threat of the Ash Borer and the Asian Long-Horned Beetle.  In fact, if you notice the purple hanging boxes near the volleyball and disc golf courts, those are USDA insect test traps.  http://www.theday.com/article/20100723/NWS12/307239852
