2010 Sports Camps

DUE TO NUMEROUS SCHOOL CALENDARS BEING EXTENDED INTO THE WEEK OF JUNE 21, OUR SPORTS CAMPS WILL NOT BE HELD IN 2010.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR RETURN IN 2011. 

Please note that the week of June 21-25 will still feature our first week of full summer events and activities, with Bingo, a bonfire, hypnotist Steve Wronker and over 30 scheduled activities daily.  We also offer a discounted rate during that first week of summer, and there may be a couple of school picnics taking place for those schools that had planned on joining us June 15-18 but have had their calendars pushed back due to some odd weather. 

Canceled for 2010…information will remain available here for future reference. The week of June 21-25 will feature two great sports camps—our 23rd SOCCER CAMP and our 13th BASKETBALL CAMP!! These camps are directed by local high school coaches, and are for boys and girls ages 7-15. The cost for each camp is $80, with a $10 discount for an additional child from the same family (or for a child taking part in both camps). The soccer camp will take place during the morning (9AM-11:30AM), while basketball is offered in the early evening hours (4:30PM-7PM), so children may enroll in both camps.

Each player receives a camp t-shirt, and a written evaluation, while numerous skill contest awards and special honors for “Most Improved” and “Camper of the Week” are also presented. Basic rules of the game, sportsmanship and skill development are stressed, and Friday includes a “Parents Day” presentation and award ceremony. Each child must have appropriate footwear, and should bring a ball.
