Reservation Policies
Strawberry Park begins accepting reservations for the 2010 camping season on January 2, 2010 for any spring reservation (including the weekend of June 25-27), any summer vacation stay of 7 nights or longer, and any fall reservation (after Labor Day). We encourage you to reserve early, since many dates fill up well in advance. Please note that for weekly reservations, you may reserve any 7-night period except Saturday to Saturday. While Friday to Friday and Sunday to Sunday are the most popular requests, many campers choose to avoid traffic with a Monday to Monday week, while others look to catch two weekends with a 9-night stay of Friday to Sunday. If your stay is for less than 7 nights during the peak summer season (any departure date after July 2 through Labor Day), we begin accepting those reservations based on the length of your stay. You may make reservations the number of months in advance equal to the number of nights you are camping. For instance, if you are staying 4 nights, you may reserve 4 months in advance of your arrival date. If you would like to reserve the weekend of July 9-11, we will start accepting those reservations on May 9. However, if you are reserving a 3-night stay for an arrival on Thursday, July 8, please call a month earlier, on April 8. This policy allows everyone a fair opportunity to reserve a site, while giving those families reserving a full vacation stay of 7 nights or longer ample opportunity to make reservations well in advance of all summer weekends becoming full. Please note that there are certain site areas of the Park that are limited to vacation reservations of 7 nights or longer during the summer.
Although we will do our best to honor any specific site requests that you may have, we cannot guarantee a specific site number for any stay of less than 7 nights. If you have reserved a site for a week’s stay, we will attempt to contact you in advance of your arrival in the event that the specific site number is, for some unforeseen reason, no longer available. When making a reservation, please be sure to let us know of any particular requests you may have, including desired hook-ups, proximity to facilities or friends with whom you are camping. We will do our very best to accommodate your requests. Please understand that many factors are considered in assigning sites, most notably: date reservation was made, duration of stay (site preference is given to stays of 7 nights or longer), and desire to keep multi-site reservations together—NOT YOUR TIME OF ARRIVAL. Although site assignments may occasionally be subject to a change in the event of unforeseen circumstances, those arriving early should not expect Park staff to relocate another camper’s site assignment simply because that camper has not yet arrived.
We will do our best to accommodate multi-site requests. However, we will reserve a maximum of 2 sites together for any summer weekend or holiday weekend. While there is a 2-night minimum for reserving a site (3 nights on a holiday or music festival), and while we do not reserve Saturday arrivals or departures, we welcome one night stays without reservations. We anticipate availability for off-the-road travelers for a mid-week stay (Sunday through Thursday), and will do our best to find you a site for an unexpected weekend visit. For any last-minute stay that is for a Friday or Saturday night, we strongly suggest calling before arrival to check on availability.
Please be aware of published check-in and check-out times. We welcome those arriving early or desiring to stay late to park their camping units and all vehicles in our Farm West area, during which time campers may use all Strawberry Park facilities at no charge. However, sites and rental units may not be occupied until published check-in times.
