Reservations may be made 1 year in advance for any spring and fall weekends and for summer vacation stays
If reserving any spring reservation (including the weekend of June 21-23), any summer vacation stay of 7 nights or longer during July & August, and any fall reservation (starting with the weekend of August 23-25), you may start reserving as early as exactly 1 year prior to your desired arrival date. We encourage you to reserve early, since many dates fill up well in advance. Please note that for weekly reservations, you may reserve any 7-night period except Saturday to Saturday. While Friday to Friday and Sunday to Sunday are the most popular requests, many campers choose to avoid traffic with a Monday to Monday week, while others look to catch two weekends with a 9-night stay of Friday to Sunday. If your stay is for less than 7 nights during the peak summer season (any departure date after June 28 and before August 24), we begin accepting those reservations based on the length of your stay. You may make reservations the number of months in advance equal to the number of nights you are camping. For instance, if you are staying 4 nights, you may reserve 4 months in advance of your arrival date. If you would like to reserve the weekend of July 12-14, we will start accepting those reservations on May 12. However, if you are reserving a 3-night stay for an arrival on Thursday, July 11, please call a month earlier, on April 11. This policy allows everyone a fair opportunity to reserve a site, while giving those families reserving a full vacation stay of 7 nights or longer ample opportunity to make reservations well in advance of all summer weekends becoming full. Please note that there are certain site areas of the Park that are limited to vacation reservations of 7 nights or longer during the summer.
Specific site requests
Although we will do our best to honor any specific site requests that you may have, we cannot guarantee a specific site number for any stay of less than 7 nights. If you have reserved a site for a week’s stay, we will attempt to contact you in advance of your arrival in the event that the specific site number is, for some unforeseen reason, no longer available. When making a reservation, please be sure to let us know of any particular requests you may have, including desired hook-ups, proximity to facilities or friends with whom you are camping. We will do our very best to accommodate your requests. Please understand that many factors are considered in assigning sites, most notably: date reservation was made, duration of stay (site preference is given to stays of 7 nights or longer), and desire to keep multi-site reservations together—not based on your time of arrival. Although site assignments may occasionally be subject to a change in the event of unforeseen circumstances, those arriving early should not expect Park staff to relocate another camper’s site assignment simply because that camper has not yet arrived.
We will do our best to accommodate multi-site requests. However, we will reserve a maximum of 2 sites together for any summer weekend or holiday weekend (we are able to reserve larger groups of sites on spring and fall weekends, as well as offering group discounts at those times). While there is a 2-night minimum for reserving a site (3 nights on a holiday or music festival), and while we do not reserve Saturday arrivals or departures, we welcome one night stays without reservations. We anticipate availability for off-the-road travelers for any mid-week stay (Sunday through Thursday), and will do our best to find you a site for an unexpected weekend visit. For any last-minute stay that is for a Friday or Saturday night, we strongly suggest calling before arrival to check on availability.
Check in / check out
Please be aware of published check-in and check-out times. We welcome those arriving early or desiring to stay late to park their camping units and all vehicles in our Farm West area, during which time campers may use all Strawberry Park facilities at no charge. However, sites and rental units may not be occupied until published check-in times. For 2013…while we prefer that campers arrive at or after published check-in times, summer reservations arriving prior to check-in time whose site or rental unit is ready early will be offered the option of an early check-in, while those wishing to stay on their site beyond check-out time (if no arrival is due in) will have the option of staying later, at the rate of $10/hour for a site or $20/hour for a rental unit. Please note that these options may not be reserved in advance, as it is based on availability at that time, and are subject to additional restrictions. Of course, you may still opt to park in the early arrival/late departure lot and utilize facilities and activities at no additional fee.
