Make a Reservation

2012 Reservations have begun (request form is located at the bottom of this page). Strawberry Park is open all year, and reservations are not required for short-term stays during the months of November through March.  We are currently accepting reservations via phone at 860-886-1944 for any spring and fall weekends, as well as for any summer vacation stay of 7 nights or more, as these reservations may be made one year prior to your arrival date. If your stay is for less than 7 nights during July & August (any departure date after June 29, 2012 and before August 25, 2012), we begin accepting those reservations based on the length of your stay. If staying less than 7 nights in the summer, you may make your summer reservations the number of months in advance equal to the number of nights you are camping. For instance, if you are staying 4 summer nights, you may reserve 4 months in advance of your arrival date, while summer weekends may be reserved 2 months in advance. If you are interested in making your reservations earlier, please consider enrolling in our Berry Important Camper program (BIC).

We are pleased to offer our campers the option of requesting a reservation on-line, but to be perfectly honest, we still prefer reservations made by phone at (860) 886-1944. It may seem old-fashioned, but because so many people have specific requests regarding hook-ups, locations and friends that they may wish to camp near, our reservation staff would be happy to directly answer any questions you may have. Granted, there are some reservation software programs that allow for the entire reservation and payment process to be made on-line, but we have yet to find one that is easily navigated by the customer…often taking considerable time and causing understandable frustration. Making a camping reservation is unlike ordering a DVD or concert tickets over the internet, as there are so many variables. That being said, our on-line reservation requests are processed within 24 hours, and often within a few minutes. If you need more immediate assistance (such as a reservation for an arrival within the next 7 days), please call us. If there is availability for your on-line request for reservation, we will assign a reservation number and email you stating the required deposit (typically due within 7 days of reserving). We will also let you know if we are already full for the dates or hook-ups you have requested. If you do not receive a reply within 48 hours, please call us or re-submit your request, as in rare instances your request may be blocked by your sending computer, or filtered out as perceived “SPAM”. Reservation Reminders

  • Reservations are NOT required for short-term site camping stays during the off-season months of November through March.
  • Reservations may be made ONE YEAR IN ADVANCE of your arrival date for any spring or fall weekends, as well as for any summer vacation stay of at least 7 nights.
  • If you wish to reserve a shorter stay during the summer (any departure date after June 29 and before August 25), we start taking reservations based on the length of your stay. If you are reserving 5 nights, you may reserve 5 months in advance of your desired arrival date. For a 4 night stay, 4 months prior…and so on, with summer weekend reservations taken 2 months in advance of your desired arrival date.

Holiday Weekend Notes: Due to the large number of reservation requests for holiday weekends, we are able to reserve a maximum of 2 sites together.

  • Due to July 4 falling on a Wednesday in 2012, there is no true “4th of July Holiday Weekend.”  That will be a very popular vacation week, so please reserve early.
  • Due to all local schools starting before Labor Day, we are taking Labor Day Weekend 2012 (August 31–September 3) reservations up to one year in advance.

Unless otherwise noted, such as for our music festivals or long term seasonal sites, all rates are based on ONE FAMILY PER SITE. For purposes of rates and site assignments, a “family of 5” is defined as mother, father and up to 3 of their unmarried children under the age of 21. For all other situations, the rate is based on up to 4 persons, and all members of a non-family group must be at least 21 years of age. All reservations are limited to 6 persons per site, with no more than 4 adults, with extra person fees beyond base rate. If a second family chooses to camp on the same site as another family (greater than 6 total persons, or more than 4 adults), they will be charged the full site rate for the camping period, as if another separate and additional site was reserved.
Please Note: A deposit is required with all reservations. We will contact you to arrange for you to make the necessary deposit. Here are the guidelines for deposits, typically due within 7 days of making your reservation:
All stays of less than 7 nights paid in full
Week or longer 50% (1/2) due, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival
