2010 Summer Vacation Rental Rates at 2009 Prices
Strawberry Park features over 40 on-site rental units, including RV and Park Model units, as well as mobile rentals. Our rentals have floor plans especially designed for families. Renting at Strawberry Park is a great way to get your family and friends who do not own an RV involved in camping, at a rate much more affordable than renting a motorhome from your local dealership. Please make your reservations early, as our rental program becomes more and more popular every year.
During the summer, rentals may be reserved on a weekly basis. Our Park models are available Friday to Friday at a weekly rate of $1294, while the RV rentals are Sunday to Sunday ($1078 per week for a family up to 5). Our new Log Cabins are $1638 per week (also Sunday to Sunday). These are the same rates as 2009!! While most summer rentals do fill in advance on a weekly basis, if you are looking for a shorter stay in July or August, you may reserve based on the number of nights you will be camping. For a 5-night stay, call 5 months in advance, while a 4-night reservation may be made 4 months prior, and a summer weekend, (if available), may be reserved 2 months prior to your desired date of arrival. Of course, rentals are available for weekend stays in the spring, fall and even in the winter, as well as discounted weekday stays in the spring and fall (including our mid-week special in the spring and fall where your 4th night is free). When viewing the Campground Map, please note that Log Cabins are indicated by BROWN SITE NUMBERS, while Park Models are PURPLE NUMBERS and RV Rentals are RED NUMBERS.

Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED with any rental reservation or on any rental unit site with the exception of RV rentals 391-393 & 399-399B. For “Pet Friendly” rentals, a maximum of 2 dogs, each of which must be at least 6 months old and less than 100 pounds. Please be familiar with our “Pet Rules” that apply to all campers regarding breed restrictions and our policy requiring that pets remain on your site (they may be transported via vehicle to our Pet Park). - There is NO SMOKING in any rental unit
- Campers must provide their own bedding and linens
- Campers may bring a toaster or coffee pot
- Campers must provide their own cooking and eating utensils
- All RV & Park Model rentals are subject to a state of Connecticut 6% tax

For all rental reservations, rates are based on a family of up to 5 (2 adults and up to 3 unmarried children under the age of 21). Non-family rates are based on a maximum of 4 adults. Additional persons registered for the entire length of the camping stay will be charged a per night rate of $16 per adult or $10 per child. Anyone not listed on the registration form and paid for the entire stay upon registration will be treated as a guest at the gate. Overnight guests will be charged at the gate at the rate of $24 for an adult and $16 for a child. There is a maximum of 6 persons in any rental unit, including overnight visitors, and no more than 4 adults. Day visitors must leave the Park by 11PM.
Deposits for rental reservations are as follows: 
Weekend Reservation—paid in full
Weekly RV vacation reservation–$400 deposit
Weekly Park Model reservation–$450 deposit
Weekly Log Cabin reservation–$500 deposit
(Balance due upon arrival—cash, Mastercard, Visa or Discover—Sorry, no personal checks)
Upon registration, a security deposit of $200 will be required. Security deposit may be in the form of a credit card authorization or a check. Security deposit shall be forwarded to camper within 14 days of departure, if rental is left clean and undamaged, and after rental has been inspected by Park personnel. Camper liability for damages to rental units is not limited to the $200 security deposit. 
Check-in and Check-out times: During the summer, check-in is after 4PM, while check-out is before 10AM. In the spring (through June 13), and in the fall (starting September 7), check-in may be any time after 1PM, while check-out time is extended until 4PM on those weekends. Any unit remaining occupied or keys not returned until after published check-out time will be subject to a late check-out fee, and/or forfeiture of security deposit. Upon checking out, you and your family are welcome to spend the rest of the day at Strawberry Park at no additional charge.
Rental Trailers offer a kitchen area, complete with a range and 
microwave, a bathroom with a shower, and 2 bedrooms. These units offer air conditioning for those warm summer days, as well as heating systems for cool nights in the spring or fall. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, and each rental has a color TV. These rentals are 35 feet in length, and feature a large slide-out, expanding your living space. Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED with any rental reservation or on any rental unit site with the exception of RV rentals 391-393 & 399-399B. For “Pet Friendly” rentals, a maximum of 2 dogs, each of which must be at least 6 months old and less than 100 pounds. Please be familiar with our “Pet Policy” that applies to all campers. Log Cabins feature a full kitchen and bath, flat screen TV, set of bunks, loft area, porch and deck, queen sized bed, heat & AC, designed for a family up to 5. See the floor plan. View a photo gallery of our Log Cabins.
Park Models are 33 feet long and 12 feet wide, a bit larger than the rental trailers. The full kitchen comes with a range and a microwave, a full bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms. Central heat and AC are provided, and each Park Model has a color TV, while each site offers a picnic table and fire ring. See the floor

Mobile Rental RVs may be reserved on any available site. Simply make your site reservation as any other camper who owns an RV would do, and request a Mobile RV rental. We will take care of towing the unit to your site, leveling the RV, and towing it off-site after you leave. As with our other rental units, camper needs to provide bedding and linens, cooking and eating utensils, and there are NO PETS with these rentals and NO SMOKING in the unit. These rentals are in response to the many campers who have specific site requests to be near their friends who have their own RVs. Please note that unlike our on-site rentals, if you select a non-sewer site, you may need to sign up for a pump-out just like our campers who own their own RVs. The rate for these 30’ rentals (range top, microwave, bathroom, shower, heat and air conditioning—NO TV in Mobile RVs, but there is a connection if you wish to bring a TV) is $654 for a week (any 7 nights, except Saturday to Saturday), while the nightly rate is $$109, with a 2 night minimum. For Mobile Rentals, these rates are in addition to the site fees for the dates you reserve.

Cancellation and Refund Policy—PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!
While we hope that you never need to cancel, please read the following. Cancellation policies are based on when a reservation is cancelled in relation to your arrival date, regardless of when the original reservation was made. ANY reservation canceled at least 30 days prior to arrival date will result in a refund minus a $20 per site cancellation fee. ANY reservation canceled less than 30 days but at least 7 days (1 WEEK) prior to reservation arrival date will be entitled to a Strawberry Park Camper’s Credit for a future stay, minus a $20 per site cancellation fee. ANY cancellation made less than 7 days prior to reservation arrival date shall receive no refund or credit. There are no refunds or credits for early departures. Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions. For any Reservation Change, if it is a change in DATES ONLY (not in length of stay), there is no charge if change is made at least 30 days in advance. If change is made less than 30 days, but at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival, a $20 charge will apply to the change. If the change is made less than 7 days prior to arrival date, it will be treated as a cancellation, not a “change”—no refund or credit. If a change is made in LENGTH OF STAY, there is no charge if extending length of stay. However, shortening a reservation may result in the change being treated as a cancellation. If the new dates result in a stay that would not have been originally taken at time of initial reservation (such as reducing a weekly reservation to a stay for six nights or less), change shall be considered a cancellation and will result in camper being placed on the waiting list for new dates of shorter stay, forfeiting original site assignment made. If a change results in a shorter stay but does not affect when reservation could have originally been made, such as switching from 9 nights to 7 nights, there is NO CHARGE if made 30 days or more, and a $20 fee if made less than 30 days but at least 7 days prior to original arrival date. If change to shorten stay is made less than 7 days prior to arrival date PAYMENT IN FULL FOR ORIGINAL RESERVATION IS EXPECTED—no credit or refund shall be issued. NOTE: There is no refund or credit for cancellation of music festival tickets.
