Sandy Should Stay Somewhat Southwest of Strawberry

by Strawberry Park on October 26, 2012

While still days away, and quite unpredictable, we are cautiously optimistic that Sandy will arrive to our southwest, minimizing impacts here in Preston.  However, in the unlikely event that we lose electricity and are unable to provide you with updated information via the website (or perhaps you lose power at home and can’t access the internet), please note that our generator is able to provide power to the main office and restrooms, as well as water to the wells and pumps.  Therefore, if any of our long term campers with RVs here on site lose power at home for any extended period of time, just like during last year’s storms, Strawberry Park welcomes you to join us here, where even if we have no power, you could at least enjoy a hot shower and perhaps even cook mac and cheese on your gas stove, while charging your cell phones here at the Main Office.  Just don’t count on any trick or treating on Wednesday, as folks around here are all Halloweened out after our 3 big HW weekends.
