Perfect Summer Camping Weather into July 4th

Looks like a beautiful forecast to join us here at Strawberry Park.  Please note that the Norwich Harbor fireworks are on Saturday June 30, while the New London fireworks (part of OpSail) are the following Saturday (July 7).  With the holiday falling on a Wednesday, there is not a traditional “holiday weekend” this year, so it is nice that the two largest local fireworks displays are on different weekends (and the Mohegan Sun conducts fireworks on Wednesday nights all summer long).  Our holiday Mud Wrestling will take place on Wednesday, July 4th this year…sign up early.  Also, a note for any of our year-round caretakers that the current caretaker program has been extended for the upcoming winter (2012-2013).  There will be a limited number of winter-water sites available for the off-season, so please inquire about availability for the winter season.
