Snow on the roof

by Strawberry Park on February 3, 2011[edit]

Most folks are well aware of the issues that have begun to surface in towns throughout the northeast, regarding roof collapses of all kinds, ranging from barns to homes to bowling alleys and office buildings.  Most RVs and Park Models are designed to distribute the load, but those who may have added a hard awning or “3-season” room may want to take steps to either add support or remove some of the accumulating snow.  Unfortunately, we have had to contact some campers about some sagging roofs, and today was our first call to campers way out west in AZ regarding a partial collapse (photo).
